Hello all!
Big plans! Big plans!

  • Our first spring GBM is on Thursday 1/31 at 7 p.m. in Bingham 319. Make sure to come out and listen to Hanna Ji, a former LiNK executive member of our chapter. She will speak about her experience as an intern for the LiNK headquarters this past semester. She will also answer any questions about LiNK’s missions and how to get better involved. Following her talk, we will have a short Skype session with LiNK headquarters!
  • At the GBM, we will have sign ups for our collaboration with Duke’s Amnesty International and Vision for North Korea. This event is scheduled for February 12th, 7pm in Chapman 201. There’s surprising news for everyone, so PLEASE come hear all about it!
  • UNC’s Carolina Asia Center and Duke’s Department of Asian and Middle Eastern studies are collaborating in a Film Series and Workshop. On April 4th, they will play the film, The Flower Girl. It is a North Korean film about the Korean struggle against the Japanese Imperial Army. There is more information attached for those interested.
  • Lastly, congratulations to our new Fundraising Chair, Meena Park~! We look forward to welcoming you to the exec board.

Let’s see those beautiful/handsome faces at the GBM!
